Our Chapter was initially founded on 26 January 2018 at Fort Hood, Texas, but due to National challenges and the impact on our team, we unfortunately paused operations. However, the Lone Star Dragon Chapter was officially reinstated as a 501(c)3 non-profit on April 15, 2026 with revived leadership and great determination. Our team is one of 13 CCRA Chapters within the United States and overseas under the national Chemical Corps Regimental Association (CCRA) based at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Our legacy is one of service by championing professional excellence and deep camaraderie with our members, partners, and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) units serving around the world. By connecting military service with local civilian life, we work to ensure every Soldier and their family has access to the empowerment, recognition, and essential support systems they truly deserve. We truly believe that Soldiers and their families - active duty or retired, Reserve, or National Guard, are the unseen bedrock of our communities.
